Princess Al Anoud Charity Foundation concludes partnership Agreement with Science & Technology

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al Anoud Foundation, Chairman of the Executive Committee, and His Highness Prince Dr. Turki bin Saud bin Mohammed Al Saud, President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), signed today a strategic partnership agreement between the Foundation and KACST  for the development of many of the non-profit development projects, on whose top comes Al-Anoud call center to serve the deaf.

Prince Saud highlighted that this partnership comes to promote the sustainability of products and projects of Al Anoud Foundation, develop them scientifically and technologically as well as transfer knowledge from a Saudi organization that leads knowledge and transfers the latest and most sophisticated technologies into Saudi Arabia such as KACST.
Prince Dr. Turki welcomed the partnership with Al Anoud Foundation, that provides fruitful and tangible services to the society, stressing that KACST will not hesitate to support the technology-based research and developmental projects that highly benefit the citizens.
Prince Turki underlined that institutions of the civil society, led by Al Anoud Foundation, are models of the partnership targeted by KACST, thanks to their pivotal role in charity development in the Kingdom.
The partnership agreement focused on developing various developmental projects, particularly in sectors relevant to health, security and judicature in addition to the professional development program for young people as well as Al Anoud maintenance program of wheelchairs for the physically disabled.

Next, Prince Saud, accompanied by Prince Turki visited the National Nanto-technology Center where the Royal guest reviewed some of the prominent achievements of the Center and was briefed on the wide-range applications of nano-technology in fields of energy, water, medical applications, nano-electronic applications in manufacturing cameras and communication circuits in addition to the accelerating adoption  of nanotechnology in laser applications.

Prince Saud concluded his tour in KACST by a visit to the National Aviation Technology Center, where he inspected some of the projects implemented by the center, such as drones, and other air-vehicles models developed by KACST.
