Titled (Where were you during space flight?)STS-51G website launches a questionnaire



The website of the STS-51G space flight initiated a questionnaire for its visitors under the title of (Where were you during space flight STS-51G space?) so as to collect maximum possible data and call back the historic moments lived by the Saudi citizens at the time of the flight thirty years ago, then air this collective memory through the website. The questionnaire aims to interact with the community, monitor and measure changes that took place during the last 30 years in the field of space science and technology in the Kingdom, the novelties that have taken place in present as well as the impact of technology on the society. The website has been launched lately by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the flight and the active role played by HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman and the Saudi scientific team in the shuttle Discovery’s STS-51G space flight along with space successes achieved by the Kingdom in space sciences since then. The website is rich with details of the Saudi experiment in space, as it also specifies STS-51G space mission and provides concise presentation of the USA National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in addition to KACST's efforts and achievements in space sciences. The site presents as well the book “One Planet ...
