“Science & technology” Organizes a Workshop on Developing
Key Insights for Saudi Technology Entrepreneurs

King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and Badir Program for Technology Incubators have organized a unique workshop for ambitious Saudi technology entrepreneurs on March 16, 2010.  The workshop, “Key Insights for Ambitious Entrepreneurs”, is going to be led by global entrepreneurship gurus Ken Morse and Bill Aulet, founding and current managing directors of MIT Entrepreneurship Center in Cambridge, USA.
The goal of this one-day workshop that is held for one day at Sheraton Riyadh is to introduce a select cohort of entrepreneurs, investors, and officials from government and non-government organizations to tools and best practices compiled over more than a decade at MIT for successful entrepreneurship development.
The workshop focuses on topics of global ambition and sales, entrepreneurial marketing, operational excellence, leadership and top team development, and startup financing.  The workshop will conclude with an “elevator pitch contest” where entrepreneurs will explain their value proposition to a set of experienced business people to improve the message and its delivery.
This workshop is first in a series of workshops as part of a comprehensive entrepreneurship development program developed by KACST. The Program also includes training, mentorship and international development opportunities for Saudi technology entrepreneurs with global ambition.
The workshop is free of charge and registration requests can be submitted at http://badir.org.sa/eventregistration.aspx . Space is limited and registration will be confirmed with emails.  The workshop will run 08:30-18:00 on March 16, 2010 at Sheraton Riyadh.  For more information about the event, please visit www.badir.org.sa or call 01 205 20 18 ext. 2006.
