A Training Course to Qualify Trainers to Train Energy Managers in National Institutions

A group of Japanese Experts are going to execute a training course on Saturday (saturday 6 Feb),   that is the first of its type on the kingdom’s level in the field of qualify trainers to train energy managers in national institutions. This training course comes within the activities of the National Plan for Rationalizing the Consumption of the Electric Energy and raising the efficiency of its use in the kingdom that is carried out by the Ministry of Water and Electricity represented in the National Program for Energy Management and Rationalization in collaboration with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The training course targets qualifying specialized national cadres in the field of raising efficiency of electric power, who by their turn, would be  able to train energy managers in the governmental sectors, commercial and industrial sectors. The course extends for a week and is held in Al Nasseria Hotel in Riyadh.
A broad segment of Saudi engineers have been invited to join this training course and the response has been remarkable from large corporations and governmental sectors as each trainer would get a training certificate by the end of the course and passing its exam. Moreover, there are two related courses after this course; the first is related to technology of rationalizing the electric energy while the second is pertinent thermal energy.
The National Program for Energy Management and Rationalization intends to candidate a collection of the passing-engineers to attend a specialist training in Japan to form the nucleus of trainers who would train energy managers for governmental and industrial institutions. This comes within efforts of achieving the objectives of the program including enlarging energy-awareness and developing potentialities of concerned bodies and institutions in various related scopes such as energy efficiency, new related technologies and measurements necessary to design and circulate projects of “Energy Saving”
It is noted that  the National Program for Energy Management and Rationalization basically assists the energy sector in the kingdom to encounter the increasing demand on energy through plans based on energy efficiency and the optimal consumption of energy that would result in securing alterative sources to meet the increasing expansion in  energy-generating while conserving the local environment.
