Launching Activities of the Advanced Technologies Forum Monday after Tomorrow

Activities of the Second International Advanced Technologies Forum 2011, organized under the Under the Patronage the Custodian of the Holy Mosques by King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) at its headquarters are launched on Monday, after tomorrow among distinguished prominent scientific gathering.
The forum discusses the strategic orientations of the Comprehensive National Plan for Science, Technology, Innovation and Advanced Technologies as well as the best techniques and practices that contribute to supporting this plan,  benefiting from the successful international experiments in this field  in addition to proposing the latest developments regarding the kingdom’s plan in fields of strategic technologies and the most recent national programs to support innovation and  incubators’ technologies and their marketing.
The forum targets mobilizing the largest gathering of decision makers, in both sectors public and private, as well as stakeholders participating in implementing science and technology national policy to unify efforts to implement the national policy, foster knowledge industries and turn the kingdom into a knowledge society.
The conference also aims at creating a remarkable platform to gather specialists from all over the world for  studying and analyzing challenges, proposing the latest solutions, fostering the effective partnership among all stakeholders whether in the governmental sector, universities or the private sector and harnessing efforts towards achieving objectives of the  national plan.
  The Second International Advanced Technologies Forum 2011 constitutes a unique opportunity for communication, going through the latest developments, sources of financial support to applied researches, innovation and technology incubators as it will create the ideal gathering to meet supervisors of these national programs with the aim of identifying procedures of contributing to and participation in these programs and plans and getting the financial support.
