Lecture sheds light on Consequences of the Japanese nuclear incident and potential risks
King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) organizes a lecture on the repercussions of the current nuclear incident in Japan and expected future risks, in the conference hall at its headquarters on Saturday morning.
This lecture, is given by Dr Khalid Abdul Aziz Al-Essa, Supervisor of KACT’s Atomic Energy Research Institute where he addresses a number of topics, the most important of which is details of consequences of the Japan's nuclear incident, the role of the competent Japanese authorities, potential risks, consequences of this incident and the national considerations and preparations to face radiological, nuclear emergencies. He would also elaborate on nuclear safety, its international future, the scientific information, the public opinion and its role in emergency response.
KACST invites all professionals and interested of both sexes to attend this event, which kicks off at ten o'clock in the morning in the conference hall in the KACST, participate in the dialogue, pose questions and debate on this issue which has preoccupied the world public opinion.
