Conclusion of Arab Content Enrichment and “Science and Technology”
Declares the Names of the Winners
King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology represented by King Abdullah Initiative for Arab Content, has declared the names of the winners of (the contest of the Arab Enrichment Content) which was organized by the initiative in collaboration with Knol unit of Google with the participation of a group of male and female students and staff members from king Saud University and king Fahad University for Petroleum and Minerals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a group of students from Alexandria, Cairo and Asyout universities in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Winners will be honored during the convention of the Second International Symposium on Computer and Arabic Language during the period 21-23 of Shawwal 1430 H. in King Faisal Conference Auditorium in Riyadh – Winners and organizers were honored in the three a representative of King Abdullah Initiative.
The names of the winners included the following staff members of King Saud university: Abdulaziz Ibn Abdul Rahman Ibn Hamad Al Dayel who obtained the first rank followed by Muaed Mansour Abdulaziz Al Fakhiri in the second rank then Dr. Hind Sulaiman Khalefah Al-Khalefah in the third rank while Muna Ahmad Shahdah Al Safdi occupied the fourth rank followed by Dr. Rema Saad Saada Al Jurf in the Fifth position followed by Saad Abdulaziz Saad Al hammad in the 6th position and Sarah Abdulmalik Ibrahim Al-Sulaiman in the 7th position in the 8th position was occupied by Dr. Khalied Mohammed Bahaudeen Hassan Ahmed and Dr. Mohammed Mahmoud Yousf Fajal in the 9th position.
Regarding university students the first rank was occupied by: Omar Mohammed Ibrahim Hussain and Lulwa Saud Ibrahim Al-Abdul Mohsin while the 2nd rank was occupied by Ayedh Saad Al-Aklabi followed by Amal Abdullah mohammed Al Gahtani, Manal Khaled Mohammed Al Khunain in the third position followed by Salman Abdulaziz Fahad Al Fuhaid, and Widad Saeed mansour Al Morhoon to the fourth position, followed by Lateefah Abdulaziz Fahad Al-Fuhaid in the fifth position and Arak Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shushan in the sixth position then Ghadah Saleh Ali Al Hindi in the seventh position and Tahani Mujeb Maedh Al zahrani in the eighth position.
From King Fahad University for Petroleum and minerals Tareq Mohammed Bashar Malas obtained the first rank followed by Mohammed Abdullah Obaid in the second rank then Abdulaziz Zubaini in the third rank. The fourth rank was obtained by Muhannad Abdul Hameed Mohammed Shadat, Usamah Abdul Baqr Mohammed Al-Muslam and Hamza Mohammed Waseem Saeed Road. In the fifth rank came Emad Ali Yahya Daghreeri and Abdul Nasir Shabram Al Suwailmi in the sixth rank. The seventh rank was obtained by Abdul Rahman Hisham Abdullah Habis and Abdullah Mohammed Tameem Al Qasas.
It is to be mentioned that the number of the participating articles from the two universities according to Knol statistics was more than 7026 articles in various fields of human knowledge. The average number of words per article was 862 and the total comments on articles were 16948 comments. Total number of readers of articles in Saudi Arabia were 412337. Assumed percentage of the average daily learning through the articles of the two universities has increased to 30,000 credits.
The results were observed by 31 states and covered by 37 papers and other media.
