1. Incubators & science parks program

Mission Statement:

Work with various national sectors (universities, research centers, companies, investors, etc..) to enhance technology.

Responsibilities:

1. Help in the development of science parks & technology incubators.
2. Help create technology development projects in the industrial sector.
3. Help researchers & investors improve the viability of commercial technology projects.
4. Assist in the transfer of technology from foreign sources, adapt it to serve investors & researchers.
5. Help provide information in technology & business.
6. Facilitate partnerships between businessmen, entrepreneurs & industrials on the one hand, & researchers, academic & research institutions on the other.

2. Knowledge management program 

Mission Statement:

Knowledge management in KACST research institutes.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop cooperative relations with the industrial & academic sectors, with national research centers, establish joint research projects.
2. Propose research programs for the research institutes based on the national need.
3. Attract foreign sponsorship for research projects carried out by KACST research institutes.
4. License technology generated in research institutes & market it.
5.  Manage the ownership & protection of intellectual property in research institutes.
6. Manage the publishing of research results in research institutes.
7. Coordinate the management of research projects in research institutes.
8. Evaluate the contribution of researchers & institutes to knowledge.

3. Studies programs

1.  Prospective studies of various technologies.
2. Carry out the economic feasibility study of research results performed by KACST.
3. Funding means of technological projects.
