Objective:
Enhance the information and communications infrastructure of KACST.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an IT strategy for KACST
- Determine the needs and requirements of the Electronic Transactions Plan, and supervise its implementation and follow-up
- Develop and improve systems which ensure the easy flow of information inside and outside KACST
- Create computer systems that can switch to automated mode
- Coordinate with the government electronic transactions program
- Prepare progress reports on automation of electronic transactions
- Supply the institutes and administrations with their IT needs, and provide IT support at KACST.
- Review bids relating to the development of electronic transactions in conjunction with related parties at KACST.
- Supervise and update KACST’ s websites
- Operation and maintenance of computer networks and devices at KACST
